Zack got to fly a plane! It was an intruductory flight for those interested in getting a private pilots license.
So, I made the mistake of stopping by the AT&T store and playing with an
iPhone. I had managed to avoid really spending any hands-on time with one since its introduction becasue I knew I would probably be instantly smitten with the gadget. I was right. I have plenty of reasons to not get one of these things, but it is just too undeniably cool.
Restaurant bathroom, complete with a selection of magazines.
The world record for “number of soap bubbles blown while having a tarantula in one’s mouth” currently stands at 117. I really can’t wait for this writer’s strike to come to an end.
And now they decide to head in to the building were the actual alarm is going off.
Oooh, a little excitement at work today when the fire alarm went off. Here’s the Fire Department checking in with the receptionist.
I’ve been discussing with various people the possible outcome of the Superbowl and I can’t decide which would be cooler, a Giants victory or a Patriots victory. A Patriots victory would be a nice stick in the eye to the ‘72 Dolphins crowd, but a Giants victory would really stick it to all the schmucks I see in the grocery store that boght their Patriots jerseys in the last week or so. Decisions, decisions.
We joke at home that it seems that we have grilled chicken and broccoli for dinner so often. I went to Olive Garden for lunch with a co-worker today and had… wait for it… grilled chicken and broccoli. What has become of me?
So both the Colts and the Cowboys had their play-off runs come to an end today. I wasn’t totally shocked to see the Colts lose out to the Chargers since they had done so once already this year, but to also see the Cowboys fall to the Giants I wasn’t expecting. How grand it would be if we end up with the Chargers versus Giants in the big game (afraid I might get sued for infringment if I use the “S” word). I’m not a fan of either team, or any team for that matter, but would just like to see the unexpected happen.
